Ukrainian Armed Forces advance in Tavria sector despite mined areas - Tarnavskyi
In the Tauride sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are advancing despite mined areas and Russian aviation activity.
As informs Censor.NЕТ, the commander of the operational and strategic grouping of troops "Tavria" Oleksandr Tarnavskyi reports in the Telegram.
"Work is ongoing in the Tauride sector. The defense forces are systematically destroying the Russians. Despite the mined areas and enemy air strikes, our soldiers are advancing," the statement reads.
Over the past day, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 16 times and fired 650 times.
Artillery units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Tauride sector carried out 1,412 firing missions.
Over the last day, enemy losses in killed and wounded amounted to almost two companies.
25 units of Russian military equipment were destroyed. In particular, three tanks, an armored personnel carrier, three BM-21 Grads, an Orlan-10 UAV, two Strela-10 SAMs, two 2A65 Msta-B howitzers, two 2S3 Acacia self-propelled artillery systems, a Hyacinth-B cannon, a Hyacinth-C cannon, a D-30 cannon, a Tunguska multiple rocket launcher, and vehicles.
Three enemy ammunition depots were also destroyed.
As reported, 29 combat engagements took place in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka sectors over the last day, and heavy fighting continues.
