Information about beating of Dubinsky in pre-trial detention center was not confirmed. Pre-trial detention center is preparing an appeal regarding lawyers’ actions

The administration of the Kyiv Pre-Trial Detention Centre will appeal to the State Bureau of Investigation and the Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of the Bar regarding the actions of the lawyers of Oleksandr Dubinsky, a suspect in high treason.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the Kyiv Pre-trial Detention Centre.
It is reminded that the lawyers of MP Oleksandr Dubinsky, who is suspected in treason, with reference to him, disseminated information about the beating and abuse of the latter in the state institution "Kyiv Pre-trial Detention Centre".
According to his lawyers, Dubinsky was beaten in his cell by unknown persons.
"An ambulance crew and units of the National Police were called to investigate the incident. The administration of the pre-trial detention centre, being interested in establishing the truth and in order to comprehensively verify these facts, provided full assistance to law enforcement officers and doctors. According to the results of the examination, the ambulance doctors found satisfactory health condition and no grounds for hospitalisation outside the pre-trial detention facility," the statement said.
It is also noted that the National Police conducted a series of measures (including a forensic examination), which did not confirm the information about the beating of the suspect O. Dubinsky.
The administration of the pre-trial detention facility is also preparing an appeal to the SBI and the QDBC regarding the actions of the suspect's lawyers.
As reported, MP Dubinsky said that he had been injured in the pre-trial detention centre.
We remind that on 13 November, the SBU served MP Dubinsky with a notice of suspicion of high treason. He was arrested for 2 months without bail.
Earlier it was reported that Dubinsky, under the pretext of accompanying his sick father, had travelledabroad and is currently holidaying in Barcelona with his girlfriend.
On 3 July, the SSU searched Dubinsky 's home. The next day, he stated that a draft interrogation report on the Derkach case, in which he allegedly cited the facts of the involvement of the President's Office in this treason, had been seized from him.
Dubinskyi was also served a notice of suspicion of organising a scheme to allow fugitives to travel abroad.
