According to the Polish media, citing "military sources," the unknown object that incurred into Polish airspace on Friday, December 29, was a Russian X-22 or X-101 missile from Ukraine.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Polsat News.

Information from media sources allegedly indicates that the object that flew into Poland on Friday morning was most likely a Russian X-22 or X-101 cruise missile.

"According to unofficial information from military sources, the missile allegedly flew along the border and incurred into our airspace.

After changing its trajectory, it was supposed to return to Ukrainian territory and was probably shot down by the Ukrainian air defense system," the article says.

The flying object, which was moving at high speed, was observed by residents of the Dolgobychów Commune in the Lublin Voivodeship. It was in the vicinity of Przewodów.

Earlier, it was reported that an "unknown object" was recorded in Poland that flew into the country from Ukraine during a massive Russian missile attack.

Polish President Andrzej Duda convened an urgent meeting with the military leadership after the country's airspace was incurred into from the territory of Ukraine.
