"We do not confirm the information reports about the alleged fall of a rocket near the village of Wożuchyn. Therefore, we are completing our work to find the object," said Malgorzata Pawlowska, a police spokeswoman in Tomaszów Lubelski.
According to her, the police, together with the military gendarmerie, conducted searches in three counties: Zamość, Tomaszów and Hrubieszów. However, the searches and questioning of the local population did not give any results: people did not hear or see anything.
Earlier, Polsat News reported that most likely a Russian X-22 or X-101 missile had flown to Poland.
This was preceded by a massive shelling of Ukraine by Russia, during which the ruscists launched 158 missiles and shaheds.
