The Russian Federation continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite significant losses, it does not abandon its plans for the complete occupation of Ukraine. The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, launches strikes, and shells both military and civilian targets.

There were 47 combat engagements over the last day. In total, the enemy launched 6 missiles and 42 air strikes, fired 18 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties. Residential buildings, other civilian and industrial infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.
The situation in the Volyn and Polissia directions remained unchanged. There were no signs of offensive groups forming. Certain units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are performing tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, continues to carry out sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. It carried out air strikes near the settlements of Morokhovets and Kolodiazne in the Kharkiv region. More than 20 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Tymonovychi, Arkhypivka, Leonivka, Kostobobriv, Hremiach in Chernihiv region; Marchykhyna Buda, Volfyne, Kostiantynivka, Myropillia, Popivka in Sumy region; Alisivka, Lyptsi, Lukiantsi, Starytsa, Zybyno, Odradne in Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. He carried out air strikes near Petropavlivka, Kucherivka, Podoly, Berestove in the Kharkiv region and Novoiehorivka in the Luhansk region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove in Kharkiv region.
The occupants did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions in the Lyman direction. The enemy conducted air strikes near Serebrianskyi forestry in the Luhansk region and Terny, Spirne in the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhnоkamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled four attacks near Bohdanivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical situation. The enemy launched an air strike near the village of Pivnichne in the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Mykolaivka, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and New York in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 9 enemy attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka and another 19 near Sieverne, Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region. Here, the invaders, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical situation. The enemy also launched an air strike near Oleksandropil in the Donetsk region. It shelled about 10 settlements with artillery and mortars, including Keramik, Novokalynove, Berdychi, Semenivka, Avdiivka, Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Marinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Heorhiivka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical situation 11 times. Oleksandropil, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Yelizavetivka, and Katerynivka came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. He fired at about 10 settlements with artillery and mortars, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Staromaiorske in Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to regain the lost position. The occupants launched an air strike near Novodarivka in the Zaporizhzhia region. More than 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Levadne, Huliaipole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaki, Piatikhatky in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Operational-Strategic Group (OSG) in the Kherson direction, Tomaryne, Novotiahynka, Sadove, Kherson, Chornobaivka and Kizomys in the Kherson region were subjected to enemy artillery fire.
The enemy does not abandon its intention to knock our units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro. Thus, during the day, the enemy carried out 8 unsuccessful assault operations, but Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold their positions and inflict significant losses on the enemy.
During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces conducted strikes on 12 areas of concentration of enemy personnel.
Missile troops hit 3 air defense systems, 3 artillery systems, an electronic warfare station and an enemy control center.
