Canada imposes new sanctions against Russia: list includes suppliers of components for "Kalibrs" and drones

Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly announces new sanctions on the second anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports citing LigaBusinessInform.
"Today we are sending a clear message to Russian officials and the organizations they run: we support the people of Ukraine who are bravely defending their rights in the face of Putin's unjustified and aggressive actions," Joly said.
According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Canada announced the sanctions in coordination with the United States and the United Kingdom. They apply to 10 individuals and 153 legal entities registered in Russia and Cyprus.
The sanctions list includes logistics companies, companies that supply components for Kalibr missiles and drones, as well as provide insurance, repair and research services to the aggressor state's Ministry of Defense.
In addition, a ban on exports to Russia of goods that can be used to manufacture weapons and wage war against Ukraine is being introduced. These include explosives and detonators, including those used in the mining and construction industries.
