Ukrainian Air Defence shoots down X-59/X-69 missile and 9 out of 10 "Shaheds" - Air Force

On the night of 29 July, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with an X-59/X-69 guided missile from the airspace of occupied Donetsk region and 10 Shahed-type attack UAVs from Cape Chauda in Crimea.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk.

"Anti-aircraft missile and electronic warfare units of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces were involved in repelling the air attack.

An X-59/X-69 guided missile and nine Shahed-131/136 UAVs were shot down as a result of the air battle. Air targets were destroyed in Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Kirovohrad regions," the statement said.
