Erdogan: At meeting with Putin, I saw that he wants ceasefire

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is allegedly seeking to establish a ceasefire.

"As during my meeting with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in America, we saw that Putin is also committed to a permanent ceasefire," he said.
According to Erdogan, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed this during his meetings with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Istanbul.
The Turkish leader added that at the BRICS summit, he discussed with the Russian dictator the security of the Black Sea grain corridor, its demining and the exchange of prisoners.
"We will continue to do our best to resolve the issues through diplomatic means. We want to start peace talks between the two countries as soon as possible and pave the way for a favorable outcome. We will continue to work tirelessly to achieve this. We continue to emphasize that there are no winners in war and no losers in peace. This war will definitely end, we are trying to end it without shedding blood and tears," Erdogan added.
As reported earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Kazan, Russia, to participate in the BRICS summit.
