Kremlin calls FT article on Ukraine-Russia talks to end energy attacks "fake news"

The Kremlin called it a "fake news" that Ukraine and Russia are negotiating a mutual cessation of strikes on energy infrastructure.
This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian dictator Dmitry Peskov, quoted by the Russian Interfax news agency, Censor.NET reports.
"There are a lot of fake news that have nothing to do with reality. Even the largest publications do not shy away from making these insertions, they issue such publications," Peskov said.
What preceded it?
On 29 October, the Financial Times reported that Moscow and Kyiv were holding "preliminary discussions" on mutual cessation of shelling of energy infrastructure with the mediation of Qatar.
The newspaper emphasised that these were "very early discussions on the potential resumption of talks".
