Russians attacked 47 times in Kurakhove direction, fighting continues - General Staff
Ukrainian soldiers continue to resolutely repel the enemy's attempts to advance into the depths of our territory, inflicting effective fire damage and exhausting them along the entire front line and in the rear. Since the beginning of the day, 156 combat engagements have been recorded so far.

Russian shelling of Ukraine
The Russian invaders launched one missile attack on the territory of Ukraine with two missiles, 69 air strikes, dropped 106 GABs, and used 873 kamikaze drones. At the same time, the enemy fired 4178 times at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
The situation in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy stormed the positions of our troops near Vovchansk eight times today. According to preliminary estimates, the enemy's losses in the direction amounted to 85 servicemen killed and wounded, Ukrainian troops destroyed seven units of enemy vehicles and 23 UAVs; 12 vehicles and a unit of special equipment were also damaged.
The enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops seventeen times in the Kupiansk direction in the areas of Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Kruhlyakivka and Lozova.
Hostilities in the East
In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders tried to advance six times in the areas of Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka and Torske. Ukraine's defenders are holding defense steadfastly, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian troops are repelling an attack near Verkhnokamianske, the situation is under control.
In the Toretsk direction, the aggressor attacked ten times with the support of aviation near Toretsk and in the area of Shcherbynivka. Two combat engagements are currently ongoing.
High intensity of hostilities remains in the Pokrovsk direction. The number of combat engagements increased to 28. The invaders continue to attack our positions in the direction of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Hryhorivka, Pustynka and Novooleksiyivka. As of today, our defenders have repelled 19 attacks, nine engagements are ongoing.
Preliminary losses of the aggressor amounted to 445 invaders killed and wounded. Moreover, two tanks, two cannons, three cars and three motorcycles of the occupants were destroyed, while two more cars and four motorcycles were damaged.
As of this time of day, 47 combat engagements of varying intensity took place in the Kurakhove direction. The occupiers were most actively trying to advance in the areas of Illinka, Novoselidivka, Voznesenka, Novodmytrivka, Dalne and Antonivka. The fighting continues.
The situation in the South
In the Vremivka direction, the aggressor, supported by aviation, attacked the front line of our defense 13 times in the area of Trudove, Maksymivka, Makarivka, Rivnopil and Novodarivka. Six combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Prydniprovske direction, five enemy attempts to storm the positions of our soldiers failed.
The defense forces are holding back the onslaught of the Russian occupants. Today, it is worth mentioning the soldiers of the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Hetman Danylo Apostol and the 126th Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces, who are bravely holding their positions, skillfully repelling enemy attacks, inflicting significant losses on the invaders.
