Zelenskyy on Trump: I understand only direct contacts, our teams will "establish processes"
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is confident that his team will "establish processes" with the team of President-elect Donald Trump.
The head of state said this during a joint press conference with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"I had contacts with Donald Trump. I only understand direct contacts between presidents. As for the team, they have their own contacts. I don't accept any unofficial voices that are currently heard in the media. As for the process of establishing contact between our teams, I am sure it will take place," Zelenskyy said.
The President also announced the upcoming business trip of the head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak, to the United States: "As for the business trip of the head of the President's Office, it will happen."
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy assured that the war would end faster than the Trump administration, and that the rhetoric of "sit down and listen" does not work.
