Scholz’s call to Putin was "strategic mistake," - Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna

By calling Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz made a strategic mistake.

This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Margus Tsahkna, Censor.NET reports citing Reuters.

Tsakhkna expressed hope that the widespread international criticism of Scholz would dissuade other European leaders from talking to Putin. According to him, the Western countries "had an agreed principle that we keep Putin isolated."

"This only weakened our unity and our position. It was a strategic mistake," he emphasized.
