"Servant of People" Kravets illegally received status of unfit and volunteer while vacationing with his girlfriend in Paris and Saudi Arabia. VIDEO&PHOTOS
The Hromadske media outlet claims that Roman Kravets, who is called the owner of the Joker Telegram channel, was removed from the military register in the summer of 2024 by a decision of the MMC, despite being abroad at the time. Also in September, he met with Kyiv businessman Seiar Kurshutov and former head of the Presidential Office Andrii Bohdan in Vienna.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the investigation by Hromadske.
"Roman traveled abroad five times before June 2024, and three more times after that. In his own words, first on the basis of Shliakh (probably as a volunteer), then on a 'white' ticket. The last trip, from September 22 to October 3, interested us the most.
On September 29, Kravets and his girlfriend, 23-year-old blogger Uliana Melnyk, arrived at the Paris airport. In Paris, they checked into the 5-star Shangri-La Paris hotel. The cheapest room here costs from $2000 per night, a suite - from $6500," Hromadske reports.
The investigation goes on to say that the couple was actively shopping, purchasing items from brands such as Chanel, Gucci, Hermes and Louis Vuitton.
At the same time, journalists found that on September 25, Kravets arrived in Austria and stayed at the Almanac Palais Vienna hotel. The next day, he meets with Kyiv businessman Seiar Kurshutov (who was put on the National Security and Defense Council's sanctions list for smuggling three years ago) and former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrii Bohdan at the Ritz Hotel bar across the street.
"Hromadske, citing its own data, claims that Kurshutov controls another major Telegram channel, Dark Knight.
"The meeting at the Ritz is held in a family atmosphere: Bohdan and Seiar with their children and wives. And there are only two options here. First, the Joker maintains relations with absolutely anyone... Or another option is that Seiar Kurshutov and Andrii Bohdan have decided to return to the political life of Ukraine, and the current government does not object. In this case, it is not surprising that the NSDC did not extend sanctions against Kurshutov this year," the journalists say.
All three confirmed that such a meeting had taken place, but mostly joked that they had talked about "corrupt journalists in Ukraine" during it.
"Hromadske also published a certificate from the MMC, which reads: "reserve soldier Roman Kravets has been declared unfit for military service". The medical examination was allegedly conducted by the Holosiivskyi MMC and on July 16, 2024, Kravets was removed from the military register. The document also contains a note that he was familiarized with this decision on that day. However, journalists claim that according to available information, which is confirmed by the border crossing database, Kravets was abroad from June 20 to July 20.
In a commentary to the publication, Kravets provided a photo of how he underwent a MMC in Holosiivskyi district, but in May, and "he did not clearly explain how it happened that he got acquainted with the decision of the MMC and was removed from the register from abroad."
Kravets claims that he traveled abroad first through the 'Way' and then on the basis of a 'white ticket'. He continues to claim that he sold the Joker Telegram channel, but does not remember to whom.
