The Italian minister stressed that it is necessary to invest in the reconstruction of Ukraine now, during the war.
"We have decided to invest 200 million euros to allow Ukraine to rebuild the power grid, which was destroyed by Russian attacks. We cannot allow General Winter to become an ally of Russia," Tayani said.
He also reminded that in 2025 Italy is organizing a conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine. The event will be held in Rome.
Earlier it was reported that Austria is allocating 10 million euros of aid to Ukraine. Half of these funds will be used to restore Ukraine's energy sector.
