According to the SSU, a FSB agent with the call sign 007, who spied in Zaporizhzhia under the guise of a volunteer, was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the SSU press centre.

The offender was detained in early September 2022 when she was reconnoitering the base points of the Defence Forces.

The detainee was a resident of the temporarily occupied Polohiv district. She was recruited in the community and later sent to the regional centre as a "volunteer". After arriving in the city, the woman tried to establish personal contacts with Ukrainian defenders in order to use her new connections to obtain intelligence in the dark.

According to the FSB's instructions, the agent was to pass on to her Russian supervisor the geolocations of the Armed Forces headquarters, fortifications and firing positions in the Zaporizhzhia region.

To communicate with the occupiers, the traitor used an anonymous chat in a messenger, where she received enemy tasks and sent agent "reports".

Along with documenting the agent's intelligence activities and detaining her, the SSU took comprehensive measures to secure the locations of the Defence Forces.

Based on the SSU materials, the court found the offender guilty under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).

The investigation was conducted by SSU officers in Zaporizhzhia and Ternopil regions under the procedural supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office.
