Germany supplied weapons to Ukraine "too late" - Vice Chancellor Habeck
German Minister of Economy, Vice Chancellor of Germany and co-leader of the Greens Robert Habeck called it a mistake that Germany was too slow to help Ukraine repel Russian aggression.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by DW.
Habeck recalled how Berlin hesitated for a long time with the decision to provide Ukraine with serious weapons, in particular Leopard tanks, and now it is happening again with long-range Taurus missiles.
"For the people who are in Ukraine and who are suffering, these decisions certainly came too late," Habeck said.
He reiterated that he is in favor of a speedy delivery of Taurus missiles to Ukraine.
As a reminder, the delivery of MRAP armored vehicles from Germany to Ukraine has been delayed, with only 6.5% of the promised amount having been delivered to date.
