UN mission documents 376 cases of sexual violence related to Russia’s full-scale aggression

The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission has documented 376 cases of sexual violence in Ukraine related to Russia's full-scale aggression. These figures were documented between February 24, 2022, and August 31, 2024.
This is stated in the report of the UN monitoring mission, Censor.NET reports.
It is noted that in the period from February 24, 2022 to August 31, 2024, the Mission documented 376 cases of CRSV (conflict-related sexual violence - ed.), which affected 262 men, 104 women, 10 girls and 2 boys.
"This form of gender-based violence affects people of all genders, with more than half of the documented cases involving men - mostly those who were tortured in captivity in the occupied territory or in the Russian Federation," the report said.
The UN emphasized that war-related sexual violence is a violation of international law, human rights, humanitarian and criminal law.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office reported that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, Ukrainian prosecutors have recorded 316 cases of war-related sexual violence, including 200 women, 114 men and 15 minors (14 girls and 1 boy).
