"Shaheds" attack in Cherkasy region: alert lasted over 7 hours, blast wave damaged truck

The air raid alert in Cherkasy region lasted for more than seven hours in a row last night. Air defence forces were operating in the region.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets.

"According to preliminary data, eight ‘Shaheds’ were destroyed within our territory.

As a result of a UAV crash in Cherkasy district, dry vegetation in an open area caught fire. It was promptly extinguished. In addition, the blast wave slightly damaged a truck that had previously made an emergency stop on the roadside," the statement said.

Taburets noted that no one was injured in the latest Russian attack.
