Occupiers are actively attacking in Donetsk region, 172 combat engagements took place in total - General Staff
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the offensive of the occupation forces. The situation at the Pokrovsk, Kurakhove and Vremivka directions remains tense as the enemy concentrates its main offensive efforts there. In addition, the occupiers are actively attacking in the Lyman and Kupiansk directions.

Shelling of Ukraine
So far, 172 combat engagements have taken place. Today, the terrorist state launched one missile strike and 31 air strikes, dropping 53 GABs. In addition, the invaders used 581 kamikaze drones to strike and fired more than 3,000 times at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
The situation in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian terrorists stormed the positions of our troops five times in the areas of Kudiivka, Vovchansk and Tykhe. Two firefights are ongoing.
The enemy attacked our positions seven times in the Kupiansk direction. Near Kolisnykivka, Lozova, Pershotravneve and Zelenyi Hai, the Defense Forces repelled all enemy attacks.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian troops 20 times in the areas of Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, Terny, Yampolivka, Dibrova, Torske, Zarichne, Hryhorivka and in Serebrianskyi forest. Our troops repelled 18 enemy attacks, two combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled three attempts by the invaders to seize our positions in the area of Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers tried to advance twice in the areas of Druzhba and Toretsk, but they received a rebuff.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the aggressor attacked our positions 34 times in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachanske, Chumatske, Novyi Trud and Zhovte. Ten firefights are still ongoing.
Enemy losses
The occupiers' losses, according to the available information, amounted to 497 people killed and wounded, four armored combat vehicles, an artillery system, three UAV control points and 12 units of enemy vehicles were destroyed, and two vehicles and two artillery systems were damaged by our defenders.
In the Kurakhove direction, the invaders have made 43 attempts to advance as of this time of day. 11 attacks are ongoing. Most of the fighting is taking place near Sontsivka, Berestky, Novodmytrivka, Zoria, Kurakhove, Dachne, Dalmine, Yelizavetivka, Hannivka and Uspenivka.
The situation in the south
Three combat engagements are currently ongoing in the Vremivka direction, where the aggressor has stormed the front line of our defense 24 times in the area of Veselyi Hai, Kostiantynopolske, Sukhi Yaly, Rozdolne and Novodarivka.
The enemy made three unsuccessful attempts to storm the positions of Ukrainian units in the Prydniprovske direction.
Kursk region
Ukrainian defense forces continue to conduct operations in the Kursk direction. Today, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 22 attacks by the invading army in this direction.
Honoring the warriors
Today, we are honoring the soldiers of the 68th Separate Ranger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko and the 7th Separate Ranger Brigade of the Airborne Division for their effective combat work.
