After Ukraine’s loss of Vuhledar, Russian army rapidly advanced to eastern flank of Velyka Novosilka - British intelligence
Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region has become vulnerable to Russian attacks due to the loss of Vuhledar, 30 km to the east, in early October 2024.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the daily review of the UK Ministry of Defense.
After the loss of Vuhledar, Russian troops intensified their offensive into less protected areas in the western Donetsk region.
"Russian troops are advancing behind fortified Ukrainian defensive positions and threatening the city's main supply routes," British intelligence concluded.
The intelligence also added that Russian troops are advancing behind Ukrainian defenses and threatening the main logistics routes to the city.
