Salary of UAH 20,000 for reservation employees is implementation of "fight or work" principle - Shmyhal
An average salary of UAH 20,000 is required to reserve employees from mobilisation.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Censor.NET reports with reference to Interfax.
"This is really a 'fight or flight' principle. Either the company operates and fills the budget by paying the appropriate level of salaries and leaving the shadows, or such companies take certain measures to increase the level of salaries and match the industry average," the Prime Minister said.
As noted, the new booking rules adopted by the government are intended to encourage businesses to operate transparently and support the economy. According to Resolution No. 1332, businesses seeking to maintain their criticality status must confirm it by the end of February 2025 and ensure that their employees receive an average salary of at least UAH 20,000.
Shmyhal stressed that this decision should contribute to economic stability while maintaining the principle of equal distribution of responsibility between the military and employees.
