Sweden and Denmark to purchase more than 200 CV90 IFVs, including 40 for Ukraine
Sweden and Denmark have signed a contract with BAE Systems Hägglunds for the purchase of 205 CV9035MkIIIC armored combat vehicles. Some of them will be transferred to Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Swedish government on December 6.
As noted, 115 of the 205 combat vehicles will be delivered to Denmark, and 50 will be purchased for Sweden to replace those previously transferred to Ukraine. The remaining 40 vehicles will be purchased for delivery to Ukraine, financed with funds previously provided by Denmark and Sweden. The total contract value is SEK 25 billion.
According to him, the armored personnel carrier has been highly appreciated in Ukraine.
It is also noted that a total of 10 countries have decided to purchase the CV90 system. These are the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, and Ukraine.
Earlier, Sweden has already handed over 50 CV90 combat vehicles to Ukraine.
