Zelenskyy invites Austria to join G7 declaration of support for Ukraine and sign bilateral agreement

During his working visit to Paris, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Austrian Chancellor Carl Negammer. Among other things, the parties discussed the conclusion of a bilateral agreement on long-term support.

The head of state announced this on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.

"I met with Austrian Federal Chancellor Karl Negammer in Paris. I thanked him for supporting Ukraine. We also discussed its continuation next year, namely, helping our energy system in the winter and protecting Ukrainians from Russian terror," Zelenskyy said.

In addition, the President invited Austria to join the G7 joint declaration of support for Ukraine and to conclude a bilateral agreement on long-term support in the future.

"Together we must force Russia to establish a lasting and just peace," the Ukrainian leader emphasized.

To recap, Negammer said that Vienna is always ready to host future peace talks.

Earlier, Censor.NET reported that Macron would receive Zelenskyy at the Elysee Palace on December 7. According to Reuters, Zelenskyy and Trump may hold talks during their visit to Paris.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who arrived in Paris on Saturday, will hold a series of bilateral meetings throughout the day.
