Fighting is ongoing in Pokrovsk sector with enemy outnumbered in manpower, - Syrskyi

Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi

While working in the Pokrovsk sector, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi personally visited the soldiers of the 38th Separate Marine Infantry Brigade.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the page of the Commander-in-Chief.

"At the moment, fighting continues in the Pokrovsk direction with the enemy outnumbered, first of all, in manpower. We have to make non-standard decisions to increase the stability of defence and more effectively destroy the occupiers.

The fighting is extremely fierce. The Russian occupiers are throwing all available forces forward, trying to break through the defences of our troops. Ukrainian soldiers are showing extraordinary resilience and inflicting significant losses on the enemy," Syrskyi said.

According to the Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in such circumstances, the main task is to strengthen the defence, in particular, to provide units with sufficient ammunition and its constant supply.

"I have listened to the information about the existing problems and gave appropriate instructions," Syrskyi said.
