I believe that war in Ukraine can end in coming months - Kellogg

Keith Kellogg on end of war

Russia's war against Ukraine may end in the coming months.

This was stated on Fox Business by Donald Trump's newly appointed special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, Censor.NET reports.

"When it comes to Ukraine and Russia, I really believe that everything will be resolved in the next few months because the only person who can do that is President Donald Trump, and he will do it," Kellogg said.

He was also asked if talks between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin were possible in Washington.

In response, Kellogg said that he would not be surprised if Donald Trump did something similar.

"You know, Trump plays chess on three levels, and I wouldn't be surprised if he did something like that. Could he do it? Of course he could do it. He would make such a bold move," said Trump's special envoy.

Kellogg believes that the idea of such a meeting is "really a very good one".

"I wouldn't put anything beyond the bounds of possibility that he (Trump - ed.) would do it, and it wouldn't surprise me," Kellogg said.

He also added that his team is already planning visits to Europe for preliminary consultations.

"We're planning a trip to just listen to the positions of the parties," Trump's special envoy said.

Earlier, Kellogg stated his readiness to ensure peace through force.
