Ukraine received 4.1 billion euros from EU - second tranche under Ukraine Facility program - Shmyhal
Ukraine has received EUR 4.1 billion from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility program. This is the second regular payment allocated by the European Commission under this instrument.
This was announced in the telegram channel of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, the next tranche was the result of our state's implementation of all the measures set out in the Plan of Ukraine.
"This year's total assistance under the Ukraine Facility initiative amounts to 16.1 billion euros. In total, it provides for the allocation of EUR 50 billion to Ukraine. The program will run from 2024 to 2027. We are grateful to the EU for its unwavering support of Ukraine, which is of great importance for strengthening the country's economic stability and transformation on the way to full EU membership," Shmyhal added.
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that the EU Council approved the payment of €4.2 billion to Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility.
