Only together can US and Europe stop Putin and save Ukraine - Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived at a meeting of the European Council and told what they planned to discuss.
The head of state told journalists about this before the start of the European Council meeting, Censor.NET reports.
According to the president, the meeting will discuss the protection of Ukraine's energy sector.
"I am talking, of course, about safety at nuclear power plants. Yes, it is very dangerous not only for Ukraine but for the whole of Europe if something goes wrong. And also about gas storage facilities, how to preserve them," he explained.
Zelenskyy also said that another important point is to increase military production.
"Mr. President (European Council President Antonio Costa - Ed.) has already said that the second point in the EU will be Europe and peace. And this is very important for us. Especially from the very beginning of next year, we really need unity between the United States, the EU, and the countries of Europe. We need this unity to achieve peace. I think that only together the United States and Europe can really stop Putin and save Ukraine," the head of state summarized.
