The police of the Kyiv region have launched an internal investigation into the incident in Vyshhorod, and the police officers involved in the incident have been suspended from duty.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Region Police.

"During the monitoring of social networks, a video with unacceptable actions of police officers who served as part of the patrol police response team of the Vyshgorod District Police Department of the Kyiv Region was found," the statement said.

Following the incident, the Kyiv police management initiated an internal investigation to provide a legal assessment of the police officers' actions. Both police officers have been suspended from duty for the duration of the investigation.

Earlier, Censor.NET published a video in which people dressed in military uniforms and police officers were spraying gas into a car and setting it on fire.
