50% of men of conscription age ready to return to Ukraine if reservation issue is resolved, - Ministry of Unity
Half of Ukrainian men of military age abroad are ready to return to Ukraine before the end of the war if the issue of reservations is resolved.
According to Censor.NET, citing Interfax-Ukraine, this was stated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksii Chernyshov at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights, De-occupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, National Minorities and Interethnic Relations.
"50% of men of conscription age are ready to return to Ukraine today, without waiting for the end of the war, if the issue of reservations is resolved. It is not the war that stops men from returning today. Of course, they are intimidated by the issue of possible mobilisation. Whether it is good or bad, we will assess this later, it is the way it is," Chernyshov said.
He also noted that in this regard, future Unity Hubs abroad should provide employment services in Ukraine and resolve issues with mobilisation and military registration documents.
