Ukraine completes 2024 in conditions of financial stability, - Shmyhal

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that Ukraine is completing 2024 in conditions of financial stability.
According to Censor.NET, Shmyhal said this at a government meeting.
"We are completing 2024 in conditions of financial stability. We are fully funding our Defense Forces through taxes, fees, and domestic loans. Thanks to our partners, we cover civilian expenditures," Shmyhal said.
He noted that Ukraine has received more than €16 billion from the EU under the Ukraine Facility program. Almost $5.4 billion was received under the IMF program. The sixth revision of the program has already taken place, and yesterday Ukraine received a new financial tranche.
"Direct budget support for this year will amount to about $41 billion. The support of the United States, the World Bank, Japan, Canada and other partners is important. In 11 months of 2024, more than UAH 510 billion was allocated from the state budget for social security, UAH 140 billion for the state medical guarantee program, and UAH 163 billion for transfers to local budgets," the Prime Minister said.
Shmyhal also noted that next year, more than $38 billion in external financing is expected to be attracted to cover the most important non-military budget expenditures. Ukraine also expects to receive funds from frozen Russian assets.
