During battles for Mykolaiv, he "betrayed" Ukrainian patriots at Russian checkpoints: Russian accomplice sentenced to 11 years in prison - SSU
According to the SSU's evidence base, a 25-year-old Russian accomplice who collaborated with ruscists during the battles for Mykolaiv was sentenced to a real prison term.

It is noted that the defendant is a resident of the Mykolaiv region who, after the capture of the Snihurivka district, supported the invaders and voluntarily agreed to be on duty at Russian checkpoints.
There, he received automatic weapons and a task from the enemy: to identify Ukrainian patriots who tried to take their families to the territory of Ukraine controlled by the state.
Following the instructions of the occupiers, the suspect stopped civilian cars and, threatening the driver and passengers with weapons, forced them to get out of the vehicle.
Then, under the guise of a "check," the perpetrator would take away all documents, cell phones, money, car keys, and other items. Most of the victims had their property immediately "confiscated".
After that, the traitor pointed a machine gun at people and tried to force them to stay in the then-occupied part of the Mykolaiv region and cooperate with the ruscists. Most of the victims were simply "turned around", but they returned without their property.
During the liberation of the district center by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the occupiers left their accomplice in the community when they fled to the left bank of the Kherson region.
In order to avoid punishment, the enemy accomplice tried to be "invisible" and constantly changed his addresses of temporary residence in the region.
SSU officers established his location and detained him in a rented apartment.
Based on the SBU investigators' materials, the court found the offender guilty under Part 1 Art. 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (aiding the aggressor state) and sentenced him to 11 years in prison with confiscation of property.
