After February 28, a certain percentage of conscripts who have been booked will be mobilized into the ranks of the Defense Forces.
This was stated by Oleksandr Fediyenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence, MP of the Servant of the People party, Censor.NET reports with reference to Glavkom.
"Given that such persons liable for military service are all registered, the TCRSS has every right to mobilize such persons liable for military service. Everything is within the law," he said.
According to the MP, the heads of the territorial centers for recruitment and social support are meeting the needs of defense, communications, and energy companies, giving them time to rebook their employees.
"The mobilization task of reserving employees liable for military service is usually in the agricultural sector, for the production of the nomenclature, understanding the production volumes of the necessary products for the military. The MT should be set taking into account the capacity of enterprises, i.e., it should be the one that the enterprise can fulfill," Fediyenko explained.
The parliamentarian emphasizes that the regional military administration sets mobilization tasks taking into account the needs of the Ministry of Defense and the capabilities of the enterprise. According to Fediyenko, during the last inspections of such enterprises by the RMA, some of them lost their defense contracts. At the same time, the employees remained booked at that time.
The MP reminded that the reservation of an employee is set by the Ministry of Economy. And even if an enterprise lost its mobilization task for a certain period of time, the employee's reservation remained valid.
"Unfortunately, it is getting harder and harder to find a balance between the formation of reserved employees for critical enterprises and the mobilization and recruitment of the Armed Forces. Therefore, after February 28, a certain percentage of persons liable for military service who have been booked will be mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations. It may be worth taking care now to join the relevant military unit through the recruitment mechanism, as the current legislation allows it," he emphasized.
Earlier, Fediyenko stated that it is currently impossible to disband or reduce the TCRSS. This will affect the effectiveness of mobilization.
