Air defence systems shot down 46 of 70 Russian UAVs, 24 were lost in area: debris damaged private houses. INFOGRAPHICS
On the night of 9 January, the Russian occupiers launched 70 attack UAVs at Ukraine.
This was reported by the Air Force, Censor.NET informs.
The launches were carried out from the directions of Millerovo, Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
"As of 09.00, 46 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been confirmed downed in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.
24 enemy imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences)," the statement said.
Private houses in Kharkiv, Sumy and Cherkasy regions were damaged as a result of the fall of downed attack UAVs.
