Our national interest is to become part of EU together with Moldova, - Sybiha
Ukraine's national interest is to join the European Union together with Moldova.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha in an interview with the European Parliament, Censor.NET reports.
He noted that this step is part of Ukraine's national interests.
"We made decisions together both on candidate status and on the start of negotiations. We are coordinating with Moldova and are jointly going down this road. I believe that it is in our national interest to jointly achieve this goal and become part of the European Union," Sybiha emphasized.
Earlier, Sybiha noted that Ukraine is not considering concessions to Slovakia and agreeing to renew the transit agreement with Gazprom in order to improve relations with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.
