Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down more than 500 enemy air targets over week

Over the past week, Ukraine's air defense has shot down more than 500 Russian air attack aircraft.
This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.
From January 13 to 19, the Air Defense Forces shot down:
- 33 missiles of various types;
- more than 300 attack UAVs of the "Shahed" type;
- 72 reconnaissance UAVs;
- 106 other types of UAVs.
In addition, over the past week, the tactical aviation of the Air Force conducted more than twenty flights to provide fighter cover, combat employment and air support for ground units.
"The Air Force pilots conducted dozens of air strikes on enemy positions with bombs and missiles of various types. Control points, concentrations of equipment and manpower, and field ammunition depots were hit," the statement said.
In addition, the soldiers of the Combined Arms Rifle Brigade of the Air Force hit 186 targets with FPV drones and made 33 successful drops of ammunition from drones. The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 78 occupants and destroyed one tank, one infantry fighting vehicle and five armored vehicles.
