Ukraine, UK, and Lithuania have launched system to detect stolen grain from Russian-occupied territories - Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Koval

Ukraine, the United Kingdom and Lithuania have launched the Grain Verification Scheme (GVS) aimed at detecting and stopping the illegal export of Ukrainian grain from the temporarily occupied territories.
This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitalii Koval, Censor.NET reports.
The memorandum on the launch of this initiative was signed by the ministers of agriculture of the three countries.
As noted, the first step will be a pilot launch of the system in the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda, where the origin of grain will be checked. With the help of technologies provided by the UK, GVS will allow to effectively identify grain and determine its true place of origin, stopping illegal transportation.
Earlier it was reported that the UK has developed a database to track Ukrainian grain stolen by Russia from the occupied regions, and it will be transferred to Ukraine in the coming weeks.
