On the night of 24 January 2025, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 58 "Shahed" drones and various types of imitation drones.
This was reported by the Air Force, Censor.NET informs.
The launches were recorded from the directions of Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
"As of 09.00, 25 "Shahed" attack UAVs and other types of drones were confirmed to have been shot down in Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi and Lviv regions.
27 enemy imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences)," the statement said.
As a result of the enemy strike in Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, people were injured and some were killed. Apartment blocks, private houses and cars were damaged. Special services are eliminating the consequences and providing assistance to the victims.
