Ukrainians say corruption is on rise. NACP survey results

In 2024, the number of Ukrainians who believe that the level of corruption in the country has increased grew.

This is reported by Censor.NET, with reference to the results of the study "Corruption in Ukraine 2024: Understanding, Perception, Prevalence".

Citizens were asked: "In your opinion, how has the level of corruption in Ukraine changed over the past 12 months?".

Thus, 35.6% said that corruption had increased a lot, and 33.5% said it had rather increased.

25.4% of respondents believe that the level of corruption has not changed in 2024.

Compared to 2023, the number of those who believe that the level of corruption has increased has grown by 7.9%.

Methodology

The study was conducted by Info Sapiens sociological company at the request of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) and includes the results of a survey of two groups of respondents - the public and business representatives.

The survey was conducted by personal interview in September-November 2024. A total of 2488 interviews were conducted. The maximum error is ±2 percentage points.

The survey of enterprises was conducted by telephone interview. A total of 1206 interviews were conducted. The maximum error is ±3 percentage points.
