78 combat engagements took place in Pokrovsk directon, number of Russian attacks in Kramatorsk direction increased - General Staff
Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely rebuff the enemy's attempts to advance into the depths of our territory, inflicting effective fire damage and depleting them along the entire front line. In total, 190 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day.

Russian shelling of Ukraine
The Russian invaders launched one missile and 28 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, using one missile and 37 GABs (guided aerial bombs). In addition, the Russians used 423 kamikaze drones and fired more than three thousand rounds at the positions of our troops and settlements.
The situation in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks near Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy stormed our positions 13 times in the areas of Pishchane, Dvorichne, Hlushkivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, Zelenyi Hai and Zahryzove. Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attacks, and six combat engagements are still ongoing.
Hostilities in the East
In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders have attacked Ukrainian positions 16 times since the beginning of the day near the settlements of Novoiehorivka, Novoliubivka, Kopanky, Zelena Dolyna and Torske. Two combat engagements are currently underway.
In the Kramatorsk direction, 39 combat engagements were recorded near Chasiv Yar, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Stupochky, Vasiukivka, Novomarkove and Bila Hora, 15 of which are still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, Russians attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 20 times. The occupiers concentrated their main offensive efforts near Toretsk, Krymske, Dyliivka, Leonidivka and Shcherbynivka. Two combat engagements are currently ongoing.
Since the beginning of this day, in the Pokrovsk direction, Russians have tried to break through our defense 78 times near the localities of Vodiane Druhe, Baranivka, Myroliubivka, Myrnohrad, Shevchenko, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene, Pokrovsk, Novoukrainka, Udachne, Kotlyne, Novoielyzavetivka, Uspenivka, Sribne, Andriivka, Dachne, Ulakly and Yantarne. So far, 12 combat engagements have taken place.
The enemy is suffering significant losses - 367 invaders were neutralized in this direction today, 186 of them were eliminated. Twelve vehicles, two infantry fighting vehicles, one trench electronic warfare system, three communication antennas were also destroyed, and three invaders' mortars were significantly damaged.
The situation in the South
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked three times near Kostiantynopil.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked three times in the directions of Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka.
In the Prydniprovske direction, our troops repelled three enemy attacks.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in the Siversk and Huliaipole directions.
Kursk direction
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct operations in the Kursk direction, where the enemy conducted 13 assaults on the positions of Ukrainian units over the past day, 12 attacks have already been repelled by our defenders, and one battle is ongoing. The enemy launched 25 air strikes with 30 guided bombs and carried out 387 artillery attacks (15 of them with MLRS).
The situation in other directions has not changed significantly.
Today, it is worth mentioning the soldiers of the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Hetman Danylo Apostol, the 124th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, the 37th Separate Marine Brigade, the 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade, and the 43rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, who are effectively destroying the enemy, causing significant losses in manpower and equipment.
