Over the past week, Ukraine's air defense has shot down more than 500 air attack vehicles of the Russian occupiers.
This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, from January 20 to 26, the Air Defense Forces shot down
- 2 guided aircraft missiles;
- 375 attack UAVs of the "Shahed" type;
- 71 reconnaissance UAVs;
- 59 other types of UAVs.
In addition, over the past week, the tactical aviation of the Air Force conducted more than thirty flights for aerial reconnaissance, fighter cover, fire support, and air support of ground units.
"Ukrainian Air Force pilots conducted dozens of air strikes on enemy positions with bombs and missiles of various types. Control points, areas of concentration of equipment and manpower were hit," the Air Force said.
Over the past week, the Air Force's Combined Arms Rifle Brigade conducted 64 FPV drone strikes, 144 successful UAV drops, 11 small arms battles, and 1,100 UAV reconnaissance flights. Manpower, enemy equipment, field ammunition depots, and dozens of air targets were destroyed.
