US position on sanctions against Russia is clear. EU should also be decisive, - Sybiha
Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha emphasized the need to strengthen sanctions against Russia.
He said this at the EU Council of Foreign Ministers, Censor.NET reports citing the European Parliament.
"The current sanctions should be extended, and the 16th package should be adopted soon and be strong. The US position on sanctions is clear. The EU must also act decisively," the minister said.
Sybiha said he had briefed his EU colleagues on the current situation at the front and the needs of the Ukrainian military.
"Ukraine and the EU are ready to expand defense cooperation and investments. I am grateful to the EU and its member states for their consistent and resolute support of Ukraine," the Ukrainian Foreign Minister added.
