Occupiers imposed new taxes, destroying small business in TOT of Kherson region - NRC
The Russian occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region have introduced new taxes and reporting forms, effectively destroying the remnants of small businesses.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the National Resistance Center.
The occupiers reportedly focused on establishing full financial control over the region by introducing illegitimate tax rules. Small businesses, which are already suffering from repression, are on the verge of destruction. The new requirements have made it impossible to develop or even maintain any economic activity.
The announced "reforms" are aimed at destroying the economic potential of the region. People are being forced to fight for survival in the face of total looting. According to eyewitnesses, these actions have only one goal - to deprive the TOT residents of economic independence and make them completely dependent on the occupation regime.
It is noted that local residents report that the new reporting forms are complicated and confusing, and taxes are unbearable. Many entrepreneurs are forced to close their businesses because it is simply impossible to comply with the occupiers' requirements.
