Air Defence Forces destroy 637 drones and missiles over a week, - Air Force
During the week from 3 to 9 February, the air defence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 637 drones and missiles fired by Russian invaders on the territory of Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, more than 546 enemy air attack vehicles were destroyed:
- 1 guided aerial missile;
- 408 attack UAVs of the Shahed type;
- 108 reconnaissance UAVs;
- 120 other types of UAVs.
Over the past week, the tactical aviation of the Air Forces conducted over 100 flights: 68 to provide fighter air cover, 27 to provide firepower and air support for troops, and 8 to conduct aerial reconnaissance.
Air Force pilots conducted dozens of air strikes on enemy positions with bombs and missiles of various types. Control points, areas of concentration of equipment and manpower were hit.
- Over the past week, the servicemen of the Combined Arms Rifle Brigade of the Air Forces conducted:
- 250 reconnaissance flights of UAVs;
- 54 strikes by FPV drones on enemy shelters and other targets.
63 drops from unmanned aerial vehicles and FPV drones were used. As a result, 80 Russian servicemen, 4 units of special equipment, 17 shelters and Russian positions were eliminated.
As a reminder, this week, the Russian occupation army launched more than 1,260 aerial bombs, nearly 750 attack drones and more than 10 missiles of various types against our people.
