Defense Forces repel 7 enemy attacks in Kursk region, 3 more combat engagements are ongoing – General Staff
A total of 144 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel the enemy's attempts to advance into the depths of our territory, inflicting fire damage on them.

Russian shelling of Ukraine
The Russian invaders launched two missile strikes using two missiles and 72 air strikes using 94 GABs (guided aerial bombs). In addition, they used 1024 kamikaze drones and fired about 4,200 rounds at the positions of our troops and settlements.
The situation in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy tried to advance toward Mala Shapkivka and Topoli, and the Defense Forces successfully prevented it. Cherkaska Lozova came under an air strike.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted 16 offensives near Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Zahryzove and Lozova. Ukrainian troops repelled 14 enemy attacks, two combat engagements are ongoing.
Hostilities in the East
In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders stormed the positions of the Defense Forces 12 times near the settlements of Kopanky, Makiivka, Novoliubivka and Yampolivka, two combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked four times in the areas of Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka and Verkhnokamianske, two engagements are still ongoing.
Since the beginning of the day in the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked in the areas of Vasiukivka and in the direction of Oleksandro-Shultyne, one attempt by Russians to drive our defenders out of their positions was unsuccessful, two firefights are ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, 15 firefights took place today. The enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops near Krymske, Dyliivka, Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. Four combat engagements are currently ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked 43 times in the areas of Tarasivka, Vodiane Druhe, Malynivka, Promin, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Nadiivka, Kotliarivka, Novooleksandrivka, Zaporizhzhia, Oleksiivka, Novotoretske, Andriivka, Dachne, Shevchenko and Ulakly. Our defenders have repelled 32 attacks, 11 more are still ongoing.
According to preliminary data, 352 occupiers have been neutralized in this direction, 191 of them were killed. In addition, Ukrainian troops destroyed three tanks, seven vehicles, one BM-21 Grad, four mortars, a dune buggy, two motorcycles and a cannon, and damaged a tank, two armored combat vehicles, an ATV and two cannons.
The situation in the South
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 attacks by the invaders in the area of Rozdolne and in the directions of Kostiantynopil and Burlatske. Two battles are still ongoing.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy tried to advance 13 times in the areas of Novosilka and Novopil. Six enemy attacks have already been repelled by our defenders, five more are ongoing. Russian terrorists' aviation struck Huliaipole and Zaliznychne with GABs.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks in the vicinity of Mali Shcherbaki, Stepove and Novoandriivka. The enemy attacked Piatikhatky with FFARs (free-flight aerial rockets).
Kursk direction
In the Kursk region, the Defense Forces repelled seven assaults by Russian invaders, and three more clashes are still ongoing.
The situation in other directions remains unchanged.
Today, it is worth noting the soldiers of the 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade and the 34th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade, who are effectively destroying the enemy, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment.
