As a result of an enemy drone attack on Odesa, 14 schools, 13 kindergartens and a large residential area of more than 500 houses were left without electricity and heating. Experts are already assessing the consequences and determining how long it will take to repair the damage.
This was announced by the mayor of the city Hennadii Trukhanov at 5 am, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, the children's polyclinic and kindergarten were severely damaged.
"We are setting up tents. In the morning, the district administration will start accepting applications from residents of the damaged apartments. Public utilities are eliminating the consequences of the attack. We know of one victim who is being treated in hospital," the statement said.
Today, on 19 February, educational institutions without heat and electricity will not accept children until the situation improves.
There will be warming stations and invincibility points where you can warm up, recharge your gadgets and drink hot tea.
