EU ambassadors agree on 16th package of sanctions against Russia - media

On Wednesday, February 19, European Union ambassadors agreed on the 16th package of sanctions against Russia.
This was announced by Radio Liberty's Europe editor Ricard Joswiak on Twitter, Censor.NET reports citing the European Parliament.
As noted, the official adoption of the sanctions package is scheduled for February 24. It must be approved by the EU foreign ministers.
As a reminder, Poland, which holds the EU presidency, wants a new package of sanctions to be adopted on the third anniversary of the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
