Trump on peacekeepers in Ukraine: We need format acceptable to all

US President Donald Trump said that the future format of the peacekeeping mission in Ukraine should take into account the interests of all parties to the conflict.
He said this during a press conference at the White House, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, Russia allegedly would not object to the presence of European peacekeepers within the framework of a potential ceasefire. However, the Kremlin has officially stated that a military contingent from Europe is unacceptable to it.
"That's not what I was told," Trump replied to a journalist's question.
He emphasized that Ukraine would need "some form" of peacekeeping.
"Something will be done that will satisfy everyone... This is what I discussed. A form of peacekeeping that will be acceptable to everyone. In the end, we will be able to agree on something, I'm sure," Trump said.
