Musk supports idea of US withdrawal from NATO and UN

American billionaire Elon Musk, who heads the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has called for the United States to withdraw from NATO and the United Nations.
He wrote about this on the social network X, Censor.NET reports.
Musk wrote: "I agree" - under a post on social network X by Republican Senator Mike Lee calling on the United States to join NATO, as well as under another post calling for the United States to withdraw from the United Nations.
As previously reported, Republicans in the United States have begun efforts to withdraw the United States from the United Nations. They are concerned that the international organization does not promote American interests and does not meet President Trump's "America First" agenda.
At the same time, US President Donald Trump said that the United States would remain committed to the North Atlantic Alliance, but emphasized that European NATO member states should increase their contributions.
