1 out of 3 missiles and 79 out of 145 Shaheds destroyed - Air Force

On the night of March 8, 2025, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and one Iskander-K cruise missile from the Rostov region, as well as 145 Shahed strike UAVs and simulator drones of various types.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press center of the General Staff.
As noted, the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
What did our air defense destroy?
According to the Air Force, as of 09:00 a.m., it was confirmed that an Iskander-K cruise missile and 79 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types were shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.
54 enemy drone simulators were lost in location (without negative consequences).
The Donetsk, Poltava, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Odesa regions were affected by the enemy attack.
