EU countries will participate in negotiations on Ukraine - Bloomberg
US officials have told their European counterparts that the EU should participate in any peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia.

According to the publication, Russia wants to lift the sanctions imposed by the EU as part of the agreement.
"The US has recently conveyed a message to the Europeans that the priority is to end the fighting in the conflict and discuss issues such as possible security arrangements for Ukraine after that," the sources said on condition of anonymity.
Last week, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio hinted at the EU's role in a commentary to journalists.
"The European Union has imposed significant sanctions on the Russian Federation and individuals within Russia. So they will need to be consulted and they will need to be involved in this process and so on," he said.
